The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»s present "Russian Composers" in Garrison Theatre on Saturday, October 28, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. "Russian Composers" is the opening concert of the music program’s 22nd season. Michael Deane Lamkin will conduct and Anita Ayer, Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»senior, piano, will perform with The Claremont Concert Orchestra. The orchestra will perform Shotakovich’s, Symphony No. 5 in d minor, op. 47 and Kabalevsky’s, Rhapsody on a Theme of the Song "School Years," op. 75. Canned goods will be collected at the door for the West End Hunger Program: SOVA Center. Garrison Theatre is located on the corner of 10th and Dartmouth Avenues in Claremont and is wheelchair accessible. Admission is free and open to the public.
