Each May, as seniors edge closer to graduation, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»community takes a day to celebrate their academic achievements. Capstone Day, a Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»tradition since 2008, brings the 5C community together to learn about outstanding senior thesis projects. Nominated by faculty, senior presenters share original projects in a range of disciplines and media—the culmination of the thinking, writing, and research they’ve been working on towards their degree.

Presenting original dance pieces choreographed by students and faculty, this year’s program features many “abstract dances and socially minded works that explore the importance of belonging, intimacy, and connectivity,” says Assistant Professor of Dance Kevin Williamson, co-chair of the department.
